Visiting Eymet

Eymet is a popular location amongst British expatriates who now account for a third of its population. Situated on the river Dropt this bastide town was founded in 1270 by Alphonse de Poitiers who was the Count of Toulouse.
The town was made more famous by the 2011 TV documentary Little England which was shown on ITV and explored much of the region around Eymet.
