The town of Bergerac is a beautiful place to visit sitting on the Dordogne River. The town has three museums including the town museum, a statue museum and a tobacco museum. The town is famous for its production of wine and tobacco so look out for the wine house by the river which features a small exhibition on the history of wine growing which is worth a visit.
